The 4201 Schools Association today announced commencement and graduation schedules for its member schools located in Erie, Monroe, Westchester, Bronx, Kings, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. Schools are set to honor the achievement of New York’s blind, deaf, and severely physically disabled students at celebrations throughout the month.

“The end of the school year is upon us, which means an opportunity to recognize all of our students for working hard to achieve their goals and our teachers and support staff that have helped them along the way,” said Dr. Bernadette Kappen, chair of the 4201 Schools Association and executive director of the New York Institute for Special Education. “We are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished this year and whether moving-up to a new school or graduating high school, there is so much to celebrate.”

The first of the scheduled events listed below will take place later this week as the Henry Viscardi School hosts its Eighth Grade Graduation and Awards Ceremony this Thursday, June 8.
