September marked the return of our students for the start of the new school year. The first to ring the bell on September 2 was the Henry Viscardi School (Nassau County), Cleary School for the Deaf (Suffolk County) and St. Mary’s School for the Deaf (Erie County). Each of our schools opened and we are continuing to follow strict guidelines to ensure students, staff, and the entire community remain safe by following various state and federal guidelines. The 2020-21 school year was unlike any other we had faced. We adapted, knowing that the classroom is where children belong, and we are hopeful that our learning environment remains on campus.
Our “Year in Review” video below is a salute to the graduates of our member 4201 Schools, and highlights our focus and commitment to the children and families we serve.
