New York School for the Deaf offers a series of American Sign Language (ASL) evening classes, for beginners, intermediate level and advanced signers.  American Sign Language (ASL) is the language used by Deaf people in the United States.  Our ASL program is designed to help participants learn vocabulary and the sentence structure needed to communicate through American Sign Language. Each level vary in range of fluency and learning styles. The NYSD ASL classes do not count towards college credits.
